Big thanks to our mates Kris Dollimore (recording) & Tim Hollands (venue) for their help! One day we'll get into a studio but in the meantime we've added some of these new recordings onto the LISTEN page.

December 2005 Spitfire 4 complete a live recordings CD listen to samples. The idea behind Spitfire 4 was to get playing - so doing a studio demo was a waste of time. But to give people an idea of what Spitfire 4 sound like, we made a bunch of live recordings. The sound quality is rough but it does give you a feel for their style of up-tempo 'Garage Blues'.

November 2005 Tony Zemaitis visits Japan and after having a few drinks gets asked to do an impromptu live session in Tokyo. He said that he couldn't remember all the words and was told "Don't worry, no one will understand you anyway!"

April 2005 After 3 years of talking about it, Spitfire 4 finally get their act together to start playing! Tony Zemaitis and Ian Smith had known each other since school and even played together briefly in a band in the 80s. Like many bands, Ian and Tony came up with the idea of Spitfire 4 after a few beers - and the name was (as you can imagine, also beer-inspired). Tony knew Sean was keen to get playing again and so Spitfire 4 was at last born.
